Speaking at the Laureus World Sports Awards, Djokovic praised Kohli and disclosed that he began to follow cricket because of the legendary batter.

I sincerely hope that I will be able to visit India to play a game, host an event, or do something else. “I feel very close to the Indian people, so I really wish for that,” Djokovic said.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion also discussed his competition with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, the two “young guns” in the sport.The rivalry between Sinner and Alcaraz, in my opinion, is equally fantastic and distinctive.
