Vaibhav Wins IPL Orange Cap Title

Rajasthan Royals’ explosive opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi clinched the Orange Cap title of the IPL, which concluded on Sunday. By scoring a total of 776 runs in the current IPL season, he won the IPL Orange Cap title as the highest run-scorer.
Notably, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan kept the possibility of winning this title alive during Sunday’s final match. However, that hope was extinguished after Shubman was dismissed for just 10 runs in the match. Similarly, when Sai Sudharsan got out after scoring 20 runs, Vaibhav’s title was fully secured.
In the IPL that concluded today, compared to Vaibhav’s total collection of 776 runs, Shubman Gill scored 732 runs and Sai Sudharsan scored 722 runs. Meanwhile, by winning this title, Vaibhav Suryavanshi created another record in IPL history as the youngest player to ever win the Orange Cap.
