Health 4U Multispeciality Clinic Hosts Free Health Camp at Wimberly Gunj; Over 50 Patients Benefit

In a significant step toward improving healthcare access in rural areas, Health 4U Multispeciality Clinic, in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, organized a free health camp at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Wimberly Gunj on Wednesday.

The initiative received an encouraging response from local residents, with more than 50 patients availing free consultations, screenings, and medical advice. The camp featured specialist services from Consultant Physician Dr. Sumit Rakshit (MBBS, MD – Internal Medicine) and Interventional Dermatologist and Cosmetologist Dr. Megha Kakani (MBBS, DDVL). Patients were examined for a range of health conditions and provided with tailored guidance and treatment recommendations.

The camp was led by Dr. Kunal Roy, Director of Health 4U Multispeciality Clinic, as part of the clinic’s ongoing community outreach efforts. Dr. Roy emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging healthcare gaps in remote regions, ensuring that quality medical services reach underserved populations. He also acknowledged the support of the Directorate of Health Services in making the camp possible.

Officials noted that the program reflects a broader commitment to enhancing public health awareness and accessibility across the islands. Organizers confirmed that similar camps are planned in other regions in the coming months, reinforcing the mission of extending healthcare to every corner of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
