Andaman boasts five luxurious eco-resorts that offer a unique blend of luxury

The administration of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands intends to construct five-star resorts at five different sites, including the uninhabited Aves Island, marking a first for the region. These eco-tourism facilities will be established at Neil Island, the Megapode Resort in Port Blair, as well as Aves Island, Long Island, and Smith Island located in North and Middle Andaman. The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Integrated Development Corporation Limited (ANIIDCO) has issued a call for bids for the development under a public-private partnership framework. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 14, with the bidding process set to occur on September 15. The administration anticipates that Aves Island will emerge as the most desirable destination in the Andaman Islands, surpassing Havelock Island.
