The Education Department of Car Nicobar successfully organized the Zonal Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini (BVP) 2025 at the Priyadarshini Auditorium in Tamaloo, Car Nicobar. The event brought together young scientific minds from across the region, showcasing innovative models and ideas aligned with the national vision of a self-reliant and technologically advanced India.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Nicobar District, who served as the chief guest. In his address, Shri Kale emphasized the importance of nurturing scientific curiosity among students and highlighted how such platforms contribute to building a future-ready generation. He noted that the theme of the exhibition resonates with India’s broader goals in science and technology.
Shri Lionald Nicomede, Chairman of the Tribal Council, Car Nicobar, attended as the guest of honour. He praised the students for their creativity and encouraged them to continue exploring scientific solutions to real-world problems.
The event featured a wide range of exhibits, including models focused on environmental sustainability, renewable energy, robotics, and community health. Participating students demonstrated their projects to a panel of judges, educators, and local dignitaries, receiving valuable feedback and recognition for their efforts.
The Zonal Level BVP serves as a precursor to the State and National level exhibitions, aiming to identify and nurture inventive talent among school children. It also fosters collaboration between students, teachers, and the scientific community, promoting hands-on learning and innovation.
