Youth of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Encouraged to Join Viksit Bharat Quiz 2025 for Nation-Building Dialogue

Port Blair, September 12 — The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has called upon the youth of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to actively participate in the Viksit Bharat Quiz 2025, a flagship initiative under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. The program is designed to engage young minds in shaping India’s developmental vision leading up to 2047, the centenary of the nation’s independence.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya unveiled the initiative as part of a broader effort to foster youth leadership and civic engagement across the country. The Viksit Bharat Quiz, open to individuals aged 15 to 29, serves as the first stage of a four-tier national challenge culminating in the National Youth Festival 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on January 11–12.

Participants are required to register on the MY Bharat platform (mybharat.gov.in) by December 5, 2024. The quiz will test awareness of India’s landmark achievements and developmental milestones. Subsequent rounds include essay writing, state-level pitch presentations, and a national championship where finalists will present their vision for a developed India directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Educational institutions across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been urged to mobilize students and encourage participation. The initiative promises not only recognition and cash prizes—up to ₹75,000 for top performers—but also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute ideas for India’s future on a national stage.

Officials emphasized that the program aligns with the Prime Minister’s call to engage one lakh youth from non-political backgrounds in leadership roles. Through this platform, young citizens can channel their creativity, innovation, and civic responsibility toward building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
