The Directorate of Tourism, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has announced live streaming of the Island Tourism Festival (ITF) cultural programmes through its official YouTube channel and social media platforms, bringing the vibrant celebrations to a wider audience.
This initiative will allow those unable to attend the festival venues in person to enjoy the performances seamlessly. Viewers can access the live stream by scanning QR codes displayed at prominent locations and on ITF publicity materials, which will directly link to the Tourism Department’s official channel.
According to the Directorate, the move aims to ensure inclusivity and wider outreach, enabling residents, tourists, and culture enthusiasts to experience the colourful array of performances from anywhere. The live-streamed events will feature traditional dances, music, and artistic expressions by renowned mainland artists alongside talented local performers, showcasing the islands’ rich cultural diversity.
