Tourism Department to Organize ‘Cuisines of India Festival 2025’ on June 28–29 at ITF Pavilion

The Department of Tourism, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, is all set to host the ‘Cuisines of India Festival–2025’ on June 28 and 29 at the ITF Pavilion, Sri Vijaya Puram. As part of its ongoing cultural promotion initiative, the festival aims to showcase the rich and diverse culinary heritage of India. The event will be held from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on both days under the vibrant theme ‘#DesiDelights’.

Organized in collaboration with the Food Safety Department, District Administration, South Andaman, the festival is designed to offer residents and tourists a flavourful journey through India’s regional cuisines. A wide variety of traditional dishes, beverages, and local delicacies are expected to be on display through curated food stalls and kiosks.

The Tourism Department has invited applications from hoteliers, firms, and individuals interested in setting up food or general merchandise stalls during the festival. Stalls will be allotted via a transparent lottery system, in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the application form.
Application forms along with detailed terms and conditions can be collected and submitted at the Operational Section of the Directorate of IP&T, Sri Vijaya Puram. The last date for submission is June 23, 2025, by 3:00 PM.

The stall allotment process will be conducted by the designated committee, and allotment letters will be issued on June 24, 2025.

This vibrant food festival is expected to draw large crowds and promises to be a celebration of India’s culinary unity in diversity. The Tourism Department encourages enthusiastic participation from local vendors and culinary entrepreneurs to make the event a grand success.
