The Lieutenant Governor of India, Shri Narendra Modi, met with 28 probationary officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) during their training session. The officers discussed the strategic importance of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, their efforts to improve infrastructure, healthcare, education, and connectivity, and their plans to expand tourism responsibly. The LG also highlighted the diverse backgrounds of the officers, who are set to continue their training in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
