The Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman is reviewing the ongoing development works in Ferrargunj Tehsil

Ferrargunj, July 11: In line with ongoing initiatives to bolster infrastructure and facilitate the effective execution of developmental projects, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman undertook a thorough field visit to Ferrargunj Tehsil today.

During this visit, the Deputy Commissioner presided over the Vidyalaya Management Committee Meeting for the Academic Session 2025–26 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya , Chouldari. The agenda of the meeting centered on academic planning, infrastructure enhancement, and comprehensive student welfare strategies for the forthcoming session.

This forthcoming project is anticipated to greatly improve fuel availability for the local community and surrounding regions, catering to both residential and commercial requirements while enhancing regional connectivity and stimulating economic growth.

Highlighting the importance of the proposed petrol outlet, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the ANIIDCO team to accelerate all essential surveys, technical evaluations, and documentation, ensuring that initial procedures are finalized within the established timeframe.
