NEW DELHI, Sept. 19, 2025 — Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has announced a significant price reduction across its two-wheeler portfolio, passing on the full benefit of the recently implemented GST 2.0 reforms to customers. Effective September 22, 2025, ex-showroom prices will be lowered by up to ₹18,024, depending on the model and variant.
The move follows the central government’s decision to reduce the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on two-wheelers up to 350cc and auto components from 28% to 18%, aimed at making personal mobility more affordable and boosting demand in the automotive sector.
Models such as the Access 125, Avenis, Burgman Street, Gixxer series (including 250cc variants), and V-Strom SX will see revised pricing. The maximum benefit of ₹18,024 will apply to the Gixxer SF 250, while other models will see reductions ranging from ₹7,823 to ₹11,520 depending on specifications and city-wise pricing.
In addition to vehicle price cuts, SMIPL confirmed that spare parts and accessories will also be repriced to reflect the lower GST rate. This is expected to reduce maintenance costs and enhance overall ownership value for Suzuki customers.
“We welcome the Government of India’s GST 2.0 reforms, which are a progressive step towards making mobility more affordable for the masses,” said Deepak Mutreja, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, SMIPL. “Coming just ahead of the festive season, this move is expected to uplift customer sentiment and give a strong push to demand in the two-wheeler market”.
Dealers across India will begin issuing updated price lists from September 22 onward. Customers are advised to verify variant-specific pricing and on-road estimates at local dealerships, as registration fees and state levies may vary.
