Sanjay Dutt hopes ‘The Raja Saab’ and ‘Dhurandhar’ avoid box office clash on Dec 5, 2025
Actor Sanjay Dutt, who has recently participated in several pan-India projects, is preparing for a busy 2025 with more than three high-profile films in the works. Two of these, “The Raja Saab,” starring Prabhas, and “Dhurandhar,” featuring Ranveer Singh, are slated to debut in theaters on the same day. The actor voiced his concern when asked about the possible box office conflict, saying he hopes the movies don’t come out on the same day. Dutt talked about the possible box office conflict between the two films during the trailer premiere event for his next Kannada movie, “KD – The Devil.” It’s incredible. I’m playing two distinct kinds of parts. Both “Dhurandhar” and “The Raja Saab” are distinct. I don’t want the movies to clash, so I’m hoping they don’t. “Every movie has a unique journey,” he stated. He went on to say, “I’m trying to learn Telugu because I’m doing a film with Prabhas,” as he considered his collaboration with Prabhas and his experience working in Telugu cinema. I eat a lot because of him! He’s a fantastic actor and one of the most incredible individuals. He performed Munna Bhai here, and I like Chiranjeevi, sir. He and I have a wonderful relationship.
Additionally, Dutt provided an open comparison of the Telugu and Bollywood cinema industries. “I restore the fervor that Bollywood has lost.” I’m hoping it comes back. Back home, I miss the enthusiasm for creating quality movies.”In Bollywood, everything has become about numbers, but it should be about passion,” remarked the actor. The ensemble cast of “Dhurandhar,” which was directed by Aditya Dhar, includes Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna. Meanwhile, Maruthi’s film The Raja Saab stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Boman Irani. As of right now, both movies are scheduled to open in theaters on December 5, 2025.
