The A&N Administration and the Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India), Sri Vijaya Puram, together arranged an awareness program on the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme. The event, which took place in the Prothrapur Block Development Office’s (BDO) Conference Hall, was intended for both current and potential PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries as well as traditional crafters and artisans from the 18 trades that are covered by the program. Over 85 potential beneficiaries from a variety of trades under the PM Vishwakarma plan participated in the workshop.
The awareness program’s main goal was to expand outreach and boost potential beneficiaries’ enrollment, particularly in districts with low enrollment even though there were qualified craftsmen present. A thorough presentation on the PM Vishwakarma scheme was given during the technical session, giving attendees an understanding of its advantages and how to apply for it. In order to encourage traditional craftsmen and crafters to take advantage of the government’s effort, the event provided a valuable platform for educating them about the opportunities offered under the PM Vishwakarma plan.
