Prabhas donates Rs. 35 lakh to the TFDA in honor of Director’s Day, and members are appreciative

Prabhas is working hard on his next science fiction action thriller, Kalki 2898 AD. Despite his reputation for maintaining a quiet profile, the actor has given to the Telugu Film Directors Association. India Today featured a Telugu viral video in their story, in which the association expressed gratitude to Prabhas for his work. In the video, the members express their gratitude and admit that they received ₹35 lakh from Prabhas. Speaking during a TFDA-hosted public conference, the members expressed their confidence in the association’s future growth in the wake of Prabhas’ kind donation.

The celebration of Director’s Day, which will take place following the actor Kalki 2898 AD’s donation, was also announced by the members. On May 4, the Telugu Film Directors Association  will celebrate Director’s Day. The event will serve as a memorial to the late Dasari Narayana Rao, a Tollywood filmmaker, whose birthday also occurs on this day. For those who don’t know, Dasari Narayana worked as a politician, songwriter, actor, producer, screenwriter, and director of films. Aside from Hindi cinema, he primarily worked in Telugu films. Social injustice, corruption, and gender discrimination were highlighted in his works. Dasari Narayana is the Limca World Record holder for having directed the most films globally, having done 150 Telugu films.

In addition, he received two National Film Awards. The late veteran appeared in a few Kannada and Tamil motion pictures. The next film starring Prabhas is Kalki 2898 AD, which is helmed by Nag Ashwin. In pivotal parts in the film are Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan. In the fantasy drama Kanappa, he also makes a brief appearance as Lord Shiva. The Raja Saab, a romantic horror comedy, is currently being filmed by the actor. Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, Prabhas’ follow-up to Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, will also be released. Recently, Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Animal, revealed their upcoming film, Spirit.
