Power outages in several Sri Vijaya Puram areas for maintenance

Due to critical repair, the Electricity Department has notified that certain parts of Sri Vijaya Puram would experience a planned power outage on April 5, 2025. In the following locations, the power supply will be cut off from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM: Agency House, Garacharama (Complete) & 5 MW Solar Power Plant Areas, Parts of Garacharama, Dollygunj, Attam Pahad, Old Pahargaon, ICMR Colony, and Minnie Bay. At Garacharma, the outage is required to replace a damaged electric pole and maintain Air Break Switches. This will be accomplished by shutting down the Garacharma feeder and the high-tension transmission lines Tiger and Outer.

The agency has made it clear that the time listed is merely an estimate. Power will be restored appropriately if the maintenance is finished earlier than expected.
