PNB Housing Finance Bolsters Leadership with Key Appointments Following CEO Exit

New Delhi, August 4, 2025 — In the wake of Managing Director and CEO Girish Kousgi’s resignation, PNB Housing Finance has announced two strategic senior appointments aimed at ensuring continuity and reinforcing its business verticals.

Effective August 2, 2025, Jatul Anand has been appointed Executive Director (non-board member). He will oversee the Prime and Emerging Business segment, which includes Sales, Credit, Product, and Collections. Anand, who joined PNB Housing in June 2013, previously served as Chief Credit & Collections Officer. With over 22 years of industry experience, his career spans roles at ICICI Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, and he holds a commerce degree from the University of Delhi.

Simultaneously, Valli Sekar has been named Chief Business Officer – Affordable Business, taking charge of the Affordable Housing vertical across similar operational domains. Sekar joined the company in June 2022 as Chief Sales and Collection Officer – Affordable Business. She brings 25 years of experience in housing finance, having worked with Shriram Housing Finance, Mahindra Housing Finance, and Aadhar Housing Finance. She holds a commerce degree from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.

Kousgi’s resignation, tendered on July 30 and effective October 28, was attributed to personal career aspirations. The company emphasized that its strategic priorities and growth trajectory remain intact, and the board has initiated a search for a seasoned professional to lead the organization forward.
