Pakistan Violates Ceasefire Along LoC; Indian Army Responds Firmly

Amid escalating tensions after the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan violated the ceasefire on Friday morning at multiple locations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. Using small arms, Pakistani forces targeted Indian posts, with initial reports indicating ceasefire violations in the Leepa Valley and other areas.

Intelligence sources confirmed incidents of small arms fire initiated by Pakistan, which were effectively countered by Indian forces. Fortunately, no casualties were reported on the Indian side. This cross-border firing comes in the wake of the tragic Pahalgam attack, where 26 civilians, mostly tourists, lost their lives to terrorism.
