Pakistan Attacked ‘Insaniyat’, Kashmiriyat in Pahalgam: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned Pakistan for its alleged role in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, stating that the assault was an attack on both humanity (insaniyat) and Kashmiriyat.
Speaking at a public rally in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi accused Pakistan of attempting to trigger communal riots in India and disrupt the livelihoods of Kashmiri people dependent on tourism.
“Pakistan attacked both ‘insaniyat’ and Kashmiriyat in Pahalgam. Its purpose was to cause riots in India and obstruct the earnings of the hard-working people of Kashmir. That is why Pakistan attacked the tourists in Kashmir,” PM Modi said.
The attack, which occurred on April 22, claimed the lives of 26 civilians, including a Nepali national. In response, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK), reportedly killing over 100 terrorists.
PM Modi assured that such terror attacks will not hinder the development of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that anyone attempting to obstruct the youth’s progress would have to face him first.
Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated several development projects, including the world’s highest railway bridge over the Chenab River and India’s first cable-stayed Anji bridge, marking a significant milestone in Kashmir’s infrastructure growth.
