Pahargaon police station resolves a theft case in a day
As part of its zero-tolerance policy for criminal activity, the Pahargaon police successfully resolved a theft case in less than a day, which resulted in the arrest of a youngster who was identified as a Child in Conflict with Law (CCL). On November 20, 2024, 31-year-old Burmanallah resident D. Arockiyam reported that Rs. 10,000 had been stolen from his café close to the Bathubasti parking lot. Around 9:15 p.m. on November 19, 2024, the theft took place.
A committed team was assembled under the direction of Inspector Mohd Elias, SHO of the Pahargaon Police Station, and prompt action was taken when a case was filed there. The squad started an investigation right away under the direction of Sub-Inspector Sudhir Kumar, with assistance from Head Constables Ravi Kumar Limbu, PCs Rahul Kumar Maurya, and D Shiv Kumar. The culprit was identified as a result of the team’s careful local intelligence collection and examination of CCTV material. A Child in Conflict with Law (CCL), the accused, was swiftly taken into custody.
