On the campus of JNRM College, ABVP commemorates Swami Vivekananda’s 163rd birthday

On Rashtriya Yuva Diwas, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held a lavish celebration on the campus of JNRM College to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s 163rd birthday. Students, professors, ABVP karyakartas, and well-wishers from other city colleges enthusiastically participated in the event, which was held close to the monument of Swami Vivekananda. Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha, Vice President of ABVP (Dakshin Bengal), opened the program with a heartfelt welcoming speech that established the tone for the event.

The ABVP’s City President, Mr. Tejinder Singh, enthralled the crowd with his speech, highlighting the importance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in forming the moral fiber and outlook of today’s youth. He urged pupils to adopt principles that were essential to Vivekananda’s philosophy, including self-control, discipline, and a dedication to social service. The city vice president, Mr. Rajeev Tiwari, gave a motivational speech that highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s remarkable life and teachings. He emphasized Vivekananda’s lasting contributions to national pride as well as his impact on young empowerment.

The City Secretary, Mr. Satyajit Halder, gave a sincere vote of thanks at the close of the event, thanking everyone who had contributed to its success. The festival was a potent reminder of Swami Vivekananda’s enduring teachings on national devotion, solidarity, and self-reliance.
