NTPC holds a painting competition at the state level in the A&N Islands
NTPC held a State Level Painting Competition with the theme “Energy Conservation” on behalf of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which is part of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. In line with Mission LiFE, which encourages responsible consumption and sustainable living, the program gives students a chance to express their creativity while bringing attention to energy saving.
Students from Classes V through X participated in the tournament at the school level, splitting into two groups: Group A (Class V-VII) and Group B (Class VIII-X). The first phase involved more than 4,330 students from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The top 50 pupils from each group then went on to the State Level Painting Competition, which was held on November 16 at Marine Community Hall in Mohanpura.
Along with Ms. Deepa Nair, Executive Engineer (NRSE), and Mr. CH Kiran Kumar, Nodal Officer and Senior Manager (NTPC), Mr. Vikram Singh, Director (Education), served as the principal guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
