Neeru Bajwa unfollowed Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir, removed the trailer Sardaar Ji 3 from Insta account amidst controversy

Neeru separates herself from Sardaar Ji 3

Neeru, who has collaborated with Diljit in multiple films previously, has ceased to follow him on Instagram as of June 27, the day the film was released. She dont follow Hania, despite having done so when the trailer was launched earlier this month. Currently, her Instagram feed does not showcase any songs or trailers from the film. Her most recent post is a video announcing her Hindi film with Ajay Devgn, Son of Sardaar 2. The controversy surrounding Sardaar Ji 3 pertains to the inclusion of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, particularly given the tense relations between India and Pakistan. The film’s producers and Diljit have defended Hania’s casting, asserting that it was decided when the two nations were not in conflict. Nevertheless, this justification has not been well received by critics, who have raised concerns about Diljit’s allegiance. Numerous film organizations have called for a ban on Diljit, with some even reaching out to PM Modi to revoke his citizenship and suspend his social media accounts.

Supporters commend Neeru Bajwa

Considering that Diljit continues to support Hania, Neeru’s actions have garnered praise from fans on social media. One user commented on Reddit, “This is courageous on Neeru’s part! She deserves respect!” Another remarked, “Kudos to her, but she likely understands that this backlash could negatively impact her career, making her reasoning unclear. It is important to remember that the accusations against Diljit also extend to the filmmakers and the entire cast. . Many have questioned “Why are Diljit and his PR team so determined to ignore this issue? Why is he unable to consider the long-term consequences and why is he blinded by this short-term strategy? No one will care about this movie, but they will care about his position,” stated one comment on Reddit.
