More than 50 medicines fail the ‘quality test’
Stop taking paracetamol, antibiotic drugs in words. Because fake drugs spread in the market. A recent report claims so. According to the report, more than 50 medicines, including paracetamol, could not pass the ‘quality test’. They include gas medicine, along with calcium and vitamin medicines. The Central Drugs Standardized Control Organization, or CDSCO, also did not give quality marks to 53 drugs in their report. Rather, they have expressed concern about these drugs. Apart from gas, calcium, and vitamin medicines, there are anti-diabetes and blood pressure medicines. Some medicines are also listed. Among them are Pan-D, Paracetamol 500, Telmisartan, and Clavam 625.
Several pharmaceutical companies, such as Alchem Laboratories, Hindustan Antibiotics Limited, and Pure & Cure Healthcare, manufacture these drugs. None of the drugs they made could pass a drug test. However, no response has yet been given by the companies on this issue. But here the question arises: whether the ‘fake’ drug can be manufactured by the company at all. Some people think that by opening a fake company, dishonest traders can make fake medicines and release them in the market in the name of these famous companies. Because news of such incidents has already come forward.
Recently, it has been reported that in a veterinary laboratory in Haridwar, ‘antibiotics’ were being made with a toxic mixture of cheap powder and starch! Then that ‘medicine’ was being sent to several states like Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. It was also being used in the government hospitals of these places. Investigators have learned that crores of rupees used to flow from Mumbai to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh through the hawala cycle. Those associated with the unscrupulous circle took the ‘permit’ to use this drug with that money. Several people have already been arrested in this incident.
