More than 200 prisoners escaped from Kashimpur jail by climbing over the wall

After the Kashimpur prison, another prison in Bangladesh is tense. Prisoners started protesting in Gazipur District Jail on Thursday morning. Guns are fired. In this incident, 16 people were injured in the jail. Prison guards are among them.

More than 200 prisoners escaped from Kashimpur jail by climbing over the wall on Tuesday. Among them are several militants. In this situation, the news of the jail protest is spreading in the air. Hearing about the protests in other jails of the country, the prisoners started protesting in Gazipur jail on Thursday, demanding their release.

Gazipur district prison hospital doctor Maksuda told the Bangladeshi media “Protham Alo” that the prisoners in the prison declared a rebellion. The guards opened fire to stop them. 16 people were injured. Some got injured in legs, some in head, some in eyes. They were given first aid at the hospital. Three guards were among the injured.

On the other hand, action was taken against the jail authorities in connection with the protest and prisoner escape in Kashimpur Jail on Tuesday. The superintendent of that jail, Subrata Kumar Bala, has been removed, and a new superintendent has been brought. The new super took over from Thursday. The prisoners escaped by climbing over the wall with a ladder. Some again broke the wall and escaped. Six people, including three militants, were killed in the firing by the guards. The Army arrived and brought the situation under control. But the prisoners could not be returned. A similar incident took place in Gazipur Jail on Thursday. it is reported that no prisoner could escape from that jail.However, it is reported that no prisoner could escape from that jail.
