Julian McMahon, known for Doctor Doom and FBI: Most wanted roles, dead at 56

At the age of 56, Australian actor Julian McMahon, who was well-known for his parts in hit shows like Charmed and Nip/Tuck, passed away. The actor passed away in Clearwater, Florida, on Wednesday, according to his wife. A cancer diagnosis had been made for him. “Life was important to Julian. He cherished his family. He cherished his pals. He loved his fans as much as he loved his job. “Bringing joy into as many lives as possible was his deepest wish,” Kelly Paniagua stated in a statement that Deadline carried. McMahon’s career took off with the hit supernatural television series Charmed before he gained prominence for his role as plastic surgeon Dr. Christian Troy in the medical thriller Nip/Tuck.
The sitcom, which aired for six seasons from 2003 to 2010, earned him a Golden Globe nomination. According to Deadline, co-star Dylan Walsh “stunned” him. We rode this wave together, and I loved him. “Jules! With all the inside jokes, I’m sure you’d want me to say something to make you laugh. We laughed, my god, and you had my back all those years. You have my heart. May you rest in peace. In 2005 and 2007, McMahon portrayed Doctor Doom in two Fantastic Four movies. He then made appearances in three seasons of FBI: Most Wanted.
“Shocking news” was how FBI: Most Wanted producer Dick Wolf described McMahon’s passing. McMahon recently starred in Netflix’s The Residence as the prime minister of Australia. He was the son of a former Australian prime minister. The first of McMahon’s three marriages was to Kylie Minogue’s sister, Australian singer-actress Dannii Minogue.
