Janhvi says she had an ironic paranoid of losing parents in childhood
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has recently appeared on a podcast show of Ranveer Allahbadia where she shared about how she was paranoid of losing her parents, Sri Devi and Boney Kapoor in her childhood days.
Janhvi lost her mother while she was about to make her first debut in the Bollywood industry through the film ‘Dhadak’.
Janhvi recalled saying when she was a child she would sneak into her parents room and check if they are breathing, even she used to get scared if they went for dinner. Janhvi said, “It’s funny, but I was always paranoid about losing my parents, even at that age. Every time they’d go out at night for an event, or travel for a day without me… Even small things, like they’re shopping at duty free and I’ve boarded the plane with my nanny, I’d always be like, ‘They’re not going to board the flight, they’re not going to come back home’. I’d wake up at night and sometimes go into their room to check if they were breathing. There was a weird paranoia.”
Further Janhvi Kapoor also pointed out about nobody talks about taking care of parents as they grow old. Janhvi shared now she feels like a adult and she sees her father as a child.
