A number of Bollywood celebs visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal to seek blessings as the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities are still going strong in Mumbai. Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, who accompanied filmmaker Tushar Jalota to the famous pandal on Wednesday, were among them. Sidharth chose a pastel pink kurta-pajama, which exuded festive elegance, while Janhvi looked stunning in a classic crimson saree with a gold temple border. But Janhvi seemed overwhelmed by the pandal’s dense crowd and mayhem. She looked clearly uneasy as the mob moved in on her in paparazzi-shot recordings. Aware of her discomfort, Sidharth was observed defending her, giving her room to maneuver and keeping her safe among the throng. Together with director Jalota, the two concluded their darshan by praying for the success of their next movie, Param Sundari.
Sidharth plays Param and Janhvi plays Sundari in Tushar Jalota’s Param Sundari, which is produced by Maddock Films. A North Indian lad and a South Indian girl’s cross-cultural romance is explored in this romantic comedy, which is set against the scenic setting of Kerala. Renji Panicker, Manjot Singh, Sanjay Kapoor, Siddhartha Shankar, and Inayat Verma are among the cast members in addition to the lead duo. The movie was originally slated for release in July, but it will now open in theaters on August 29.
