ITI Dollygunj and L&T Construction Skills Training Institute to set up a training and placement drive

On November 6 and 7, 2024, the L&T Construction Skills Training Institute (CSTI), Kanchipuram, in partnership with Government ITI Dollygunj, will hold a training-cum-placement drive at Government ITI Dollygunj & Sri Vijaya Puram, offering aspiring construction professionals a significant opportunity. With guaranteed placements at L&T’s project sites throughout India, this program is designed for individuals who have completed their 10th or 12th grade and have an ITI certificate and are prepared to establish a strong foundation in the construction business.

For qualified candidates, the drive offers free skill-based training with an emphasis on practical experience. The program is a fantastic opportunity for young people to land a job in construction since it provides access to a prestigious company that not only promotes skill development but also guarantees employment. Practical modules in fundamental building trades, including formwork carpentry, masonry, bar bending, scaffolding, plumbing, welding, and electrician work, are part of the CSTI Kanchipuram training curriculum.

After two to three months of fundamental training, candidates will start a one-year apprenticeship program where they will get practical experience while earning a government-mandated stipend.
