Port Blair, September 25, 2025 — The Indian Army has announced a recruitment rally across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands as part of its “Delhi Se Dweep” campaign, aimed at extending military career opportunities to youth in remote regions. The rally will be organized by the Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai, and is scheduled to take place in two phases. The first phase will be held at Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram, from October 8 to 10, 2025, for candidates from North & Middle Andaman and South Andaman districts. The second phase will be conducted at Mini Sports Stadium, Campbell Bay, on October 14 and 15, 2025, for candidates from Nicobar district.
This initiative is intended to reduce logistical and administrative challenges for aspirants residing in geographically isolated areas. The rally is open to candidates who have qualified in the online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for the 2025–26 recruiting cycle. Eligible categories include Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Tradesman (8th and 10th pass), Sepoy Pharma, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant, and Agniveer (General Duty) Women in Corps of Military Police.
Candidates are required to bring all necessary documents as listed in the official notification available at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Online registration is mandatory, and admit cards must be printed in black and white using a laser printer. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for most categories.
The Indian Army emphasized that this rally reflects its commitment to inclusivity and national integration, ensuring that youth from the country’s farthest islands are not left behind. The campaign also highlights the strategic importance of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in India’s defense framework.
