In the Talbagan Forest of the North and Middle Andaman, police destroy 205 liters of lehan
The OP Kishori Nagar police recently dealt a serious blow to the illegal liquor manufacturing industry in the area when they swiftly captured 205 liters of Lehan (Fermented Wash Used to Produce Illicit Liquor) from Talbagan woodland in Kishori Nagar. Following a tip, 205 liters of lehan, three jerry cans, a plastic bucket, an iron container, and an aluminum container were discovered and seized by a team under the command of Sub-Inspector Inderjit, which included PCs Ripon Mistry, Hazrat Kumar, and Irenious.
These things were surreptitiously hidden in the thicket. All materials seized were immediately destroyed after the seizure. Mr. Ankesh Yadav, SDPO Diglipur, and Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District, kept a close eye on the operation.
