In Sri Vijaya Puram, AIKMCC introduces patient transport ambulance service

The All India Kerala Muslim Cultural Center (AIKMCC) Andaman State Committee established a Patient Transport Ambulance Service on April 16, 2025, marking a major advancement in the islands’ healthcare support infrastructure. The program was publicly established by renowned politician and humanitarian Sayyid Hameed Ali Shihab Thangal at a ceremony held in front of the National Memorial Cellular Jail in Sri Vijaya Puram. Distinguished religious leaders, such as Swami Shuddhananda from Chinmaya Mission, political officials, and representatives of civil society joined the inaugural ceremony to show their support for the admirable project.

Speaking during the event, Sayyid Hameed Ali Shihab Thangal underlined the value of community-driven projects in enhancing medical facilities, especially in isolated locations like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He praised AIKMCC’s dedication to social welfare and expressed hope that the ambulance service would quickly give medical aid to those in need. The AIKMCC Andaman State Committee demonstrated its commitment to societal advancement by announcing that the ambulance service would be accessible to all facets of the community, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion. The establishment of the Patient Transport Ambulance Service, which attempts to assist patients throughout the islands and fill healthcare gaps, reflects AIKMCC’s ongoing attitude of service, solidarity, and compassion.
