In a landmark step towards sustainable waste management, Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with the Andaman & Nicobar Pollution Control Committee, launched e-waste management services in Port Blair. The initiative was inaugurated at the Tagore Government College of Education Auditorium, bringing together key stakeholders to address the pressing issue of electronic waste.
The event featured a Capacity Building Programme for e-waste producers, recyclers, and bulk consumers, with participation from senior officials including A.S.P.S. Raviprakash, IAS, Chairman of the A&N Pollution Control Committee, and Jatindar Sohail, Member Secretary. “This collaboration marks a significant step towards achieving effective e-waste management in our city, Port Blair,” Sohail said. Hulladek’s Executive Vice President Shreya Khandelia emphasized expanding into new waste categories, including lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries. “Our mission is environmentally sound e-waste management. Working with Port Blair’s industrial community enhances our efforts,” she said.
