How much is a cricketer getting from the award received by the board?

The Indian Cricket Board made a big announcement after winning the T20 World Cup. They announced a reward of Tk 125 crore for the cricketers and support staff. Board President Roger Binny and Secretary Jai Shah handed over the check to Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma at the reception at the Wankhede Stadium after returning to India. Who got how much money in that prize?

15 cricketers from the team will get 5 crore rupees. The list includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Sanju Samson, Yasswi Jaiswal, and Yuzvendra Chahal, who have not played a match. Along with the cricketers, the team’s head coach, Rahul Dravid, will also get Rs 5 crore. Apart from Dravid, the three coaches, namely, batting coach Vikram Rathore, fielding coach T Dilip, and bowling coach Parash Mambre, will get Rs 2.5 crore.

The rest of the team’s support staff, i.e., three physios, three throwdown specialists, two masseurs, and a strength and conditioning coach, will get Rs 2 crore. The Indian team had Rinku Singh, Khalil Ahmed, Shubman Gill, and Abesh Khan as reserve players. They will get Rs 1 crore each. It is reported that five selectors, including chief selector Ajit Agarkar, will get Rs 1 crore. The rest of the money will be divided between the video analyst and the board members who accompany the team.
