Here’s what Vamshi Paidipally stated when he denied approaching Shahid Kapoor about a movie

Varisu, starring Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is not yet complete. It comes out after Vijay. Shahid Kapoor, a Bollywood actor, was reportedly approached by the director for a movie recently, but this is what he had to say. Vamshi refuted the rumors, saying, “Thank you for asking, this is false news,” despite having obviously seen multiple reports claiming otherwise when asked if he had approached Shahid for his upcoming movie. It’s too early to talk about that now; can’t say anything now, Vamshi said in response to a question about whether or not his next movie has been finalized and what language it will be in. When the time is appropriate, I’ll make an announcement.

Vamshi is in talks with Shahid for a pan-Indian movie that Dil Raju will produce, according to a Telugu 360 report on Wednesday. They added that the actor had approved the movie going into production the next year. Vamshi made his feature film debut in Munna (2007), starring Prabhas and Ileana D’Cruz, and went on to produce Brindavanam (2010), starring Jr. NTR, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Kajal Aggarwal. He continued to direct Yevadu and Oopiri, then in 2019 he won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment with Maharshi, starring Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, and Allari Naresh. He made his Tamil film debut in 2023 with Varisu, starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna.

Shahid’s most recent film appearance was in Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which came out earlier this year. The film was a box office success even if reviews were mixed. Kriti played a robot in the movie that Shahid’s character develops feelings for. He is currently filming Deva, Rosshan Andrews’s first Hindi feature. The film is a police procedural and stars Pooja Hegde as well. The details of his other planned movies are still pending.
