Hepatitis is a serious liver disease, be careful
Hepatitis is a serious liver disease. Basically, an inflammatory disease of the liver caused by a viral infection. Hepatitis is spreading all over the world. The number of infected in our country is not less. According to a World Health Organization (WHO) study, the number of people infected with hepatitis B and C is increasing in India. There are different types of this disease. Hepatitis A and E are transmitted through contaminated food and drink. And hepatitis B, C, and D are transmitted through blood.
Although the virus is not airborne, it can survive outside the body for up to seven days. Or somehow the blood got cut somewhere in the body, and the infection can spread from that too. Shaving, combs, or razors used in salons are also highly contagious. So you have to be careful in all these cases. It can be seen that many times the patient can spread the disease without his knowledge. Once the hepatitis B virus enters the body, the liver is the first place the infection spreads. Symptoms of jaundice appear. If not treated at the right time, it can lead to serious liver disease.
There are two types of hepatitis: ‘acute’ hepatitis and ‘chronic’ hepatitis. ‘Acute’ usually occurs in adults. Symptoms include fever, loss of appetite, yellowish skin color, and yellow urine. Symptoms may occur 6 weeks to 6 months after the virus enters the body. Symptoms will be more severe in the first 1 to 3 months of infection. ‘Chronic’ hepatitis can be passed from mother to child.
Doctors say that many people carry the hepatitis virus without being infected. In that case, the virus can remain inside the body’s cells for life. The disease can also spread from that person. This is called ‘silent career’. Antibiotics should be taken, and regular tests should be done if hepatitis is detected in the test. If hepatitis B is diagnosed, it is necessary to start treatment immediately following the advice of an experienced doctor. Acute hepatitis can be completely cured with some medicines and injections.
However, regular blood tests should be done to see if hepatitis B is negative. Most of the people suffer from unnecessary anxiety about eating and drinking when they are jaundiced due to hepatitis virus infection. Many people think that during this time, cooking without turmeric and boiled papaya will not cure the disease. Any fresh fish, like chicken, can be eaten instead of shrimp. In the case of hepatitis, the patient can eat all the normal home cooking, but do not eat too much oil and spices.
