In a meaningful effort toward environmental conservation, the Government Press Employees Thrift and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, organized a tree plantation drive on Wednesday. The event was held under the theme ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, symbolizing respect for mothers while advocating sustainability.
The tree plantation drive took place at the Government Press premises in Sri Vijaya Puram, as part of the ongoing observance of the International Year of Cooperatives. It saw active participation from officials, dignitaries, and employees, highlighting the cooperative movement’s dedication to community welfare and ecological responsibility.
