End is near for those daring to wipe off sindoor of our sisters, says Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Dahod, Gujarat, reaffirmed India’s commitment to economic progress and poverty eradication, while strongly criticizing Pakistan’s hostile stance toward India.

Referring to Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, Modi declared, “Those daring to wipe off the sindoor of our sisters must know their end is near.” The operation, conducted in the early hours of May 7, resulted in significant damage to terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Modi accused Pakistan of thriving on hatred for India, contrasting it with India’s vision of development and prosperity. He reiterated his government’s policy of uplifting backward areas, ensuring that economic growth reaches every corner of the nation.

Encouraging citizens to support local industries, Modi urged people to buy and use Indian-made products during festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Ganesh Puja, emphasizing that self-reliance is key to India’s progress. During the event, Modi inaugurated development projects worth ₹24,000 crore, including a locomotive manufacturing plant. He also flagged off the Ahmedabad-Veraval Vande Bharat service and the Valsad-Dahod express train, highlighting that state-of-the-art Vande Bharat trains now operate on 70 routes across the country.
