Coast Guard has successfully rescued two individuals from US yacht near by Andaman coast

The Indian Coast Guard successfully rescued two sailors from a US sailing vessel named Sea Angel, which had lost power and drifted 52 nautical miles from Indira Point in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The rescue operation was initiated following a distress signal received from the US Consulate in Chennai.

Indian Coast Guard Ship Rajveer rescued a yacht with a torn sail and ropes stuck in its propeller, Sea Angel. The yacht was taken under tow and brought to Campbell Bay harbor, where both crew members were unharmed. The rescue follows a similar incident last month where three Sri Lankan nationals were stranded on a sandbar in Tamil Nadu.
