Chaitnya, Shweta Tripathi’s husband, gives her a surprise for the New Year

On the sets of her upcoming movie, Bhopal, actor Shweta Tripathi will greet the new year, but she won’t be apart from her cherished hubby. The actor is excited about the prospect of being with her spouse, musician Chaitnya Sharma, often known as Slo Cheeta, who has flown down to be with her. After completing one of the major dates for Mirzapur: The Movie, Shweta is now working on her next project, which is filming an untitled movie in Bhopal. Due to her hectic schedule, she was unable to return to Mumbai, so Chaitnya surprised her by showing up on her sets.

“To be honest, I did not anticipate this at all. You mentally prepare yourself to miss out on festivities, family time, and those peaceful moments that typically accompany the New Year while you’re working through the holidays. For me, Cheeta’s unexpected arrival in Bhopal was a lovely, poignant surprise. It made me realize how crucial it is to have a companion who genuinely gets your path and supports you, particularly during trying times at work,” says Shweta. The actor, who is well-known for playing Golu in the Mirzapur series, claims that having her spouse at her side gives her a fresh feeling of enthusiasm and helps her get through a busy holiday season.

“I started filming this new project right away after finishing the schedule for Mirzapur: The Movie. It demands a great deal of concentration and is thrilling and intense. It makes a huge difference to know that Cheeta is here to encourage me, be my constant cheerleader, and just share this stage of my life. I no longer feel like I’m missing out, even if I’m working on New Year’s. In between shots and early call times, we’ll have our own small party in Bhopal,” she explains. “To me, a partnership is about supporting one another, being aware of one other’s interests, and finding happiness even in the most hectic times.” She ends by gushing about her amazing hubby, saying, “I feel incredibly grateful to begin the New Year surrounded by love, support, and meaningful work.”
