Bharti Airtel Q1 FY26 Results: Strong Profit and Revenue Growth Driven by India Operations

New Delhi, August 5, 2025 — Bharti Airtel Ltd. has reported robust financial performance for the first quarter of FY26, with consolidated net profit surging 43% year-on-year to ₹5,948 crore, up from ₹4,160 crore in the same period last year. The telecom major’s consolidated revenue from operations rose 28.4% YoY to ₹49,463 crore, reflecting strong growth across its India and Africa businesses.

The company’s India revenue stood at ₹37,585 crore, marking a 29% increase over the previous year, driven by improved realizations in the mobile segment and continued momentum in its Homes business. Notably, Average Revenue Per User (ARPU)—a key metric for telecom profitability—climbed to ₹250, compared to ₹211 in Q1 FY25.

Airtel attributed the performance to sustained customer additions, higher data consumption, and strategic pricing initiatives. The mobile services segment in India posted a 21.6% YoY revenue growth, underscoring the company’s competitive positioning in the market.

The results come amid ongoing sectoral consolidation and rising demand for high-speed connectivity. Airtel’s management expressed confidence in maintaining growth momentum, citing investments in 5G infrastructure and digital services.
