‘Bhaichara on top’: Will Jacks addresses Cameron Green as ‘bhai’ and wins over supporters following RCB’s crucial victory over SRH

On Thursday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru upset the wildly successful Sunrisers Hyderabad to snap a six-match losing record in the Indian Premier League. Will Jacks’ endearing remark on Cameron Green’s Instagram post following the victory won over the supporters and went viral on social media. Green had expressed his happiness and appreciation for the team’s performance on Instagram. Green was called ‘bhai’ (brother) by Jacks in a kind but poignant compliment. “Yes, Green bhai,” was Jacks’ response to Green’s message. Green and Jacks were both instrumental in RCB’s victory over SRH on Thursday. In the 207-run chase, Jacks began the bowling for the RCB and claimed a wicket in addition to the Australian all-rounder’s unbeaten 37 and two wickets.

International cricket players have conversed in Hindi and other regional languages before. Pat Cummins, the captain of SRH, recently talked in Telugu and struck a stance from the well-known film Pushpa, which thrilled the fans! In their historic 250th IPL game, RCB overcame SRH thanks to a great sense of team spirit during a difficult stretch of six straight losses. On a slow Hyderabad pitch, the skipper of the RCB made an unexpected decision to bat first—a tactical reversal given their regular tactic. With 48 runs scored in the opening four overs of the innings, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis got things going. Though the mid-innings saw a slowdown in the pace.

At that point, Rajat Patidar came into his own, scoring a scorching fifty off of just 19 balls to lead his team to a respectable 206 runs. Making the most of the favorable pitch conditions for spin bowling, RCB’s bowling attack performed admirably, restricting SRH and achieving a much-needed victory. Their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs are maintained by this victory. Green praised the head coach and captain of the RCB, Faf Du Plessis, on the team’s accomplishments during the post-match press conference.

Together with his compliments, he remarked that the opposition batted well in the chasing innings. We never stop appreciating the small victories, and right now we’re feeling terrific. Because SRH has been batting well, that has been the primary factor. Credit to the captain and coach. Since I’m still learning at this early stage of my career and enjoy taking the lead in batting, I’m still figuring it out. Enjoying one’s victory is always a pleasant feeling, according to Green.
