Badamnallah Forest illegal liquor operation busted by PS Billiground team

The PS Billiground team effectively targeted illicit liquor activity in the densely forested Badamnallah area with a quick and effective operation. Following a prompt tip, PS Billiground’s SHO, SI M.V. Shiju Kumar, assembled a specialized team that included PCs Anirudra Das, Biplab Bachar, and HG(R) Thatha Rao. While conducting the operation in the isolated Badamnallah forest, the team discovered a covert location where illicit booze production takes place. They confiscated over 500 liters of Lehan and other production ingredients that were securely hidden in the thick woods.
The region’s illegal booze manufacturing network suffered a serious blow when all of the seized goods were quickly destroyed. Ms. Shweta K. Sugathan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District, oversaw the operation, which was executed under the watchful eye of Mr. Rahul L. Nair, IPS, SDPO Rangat.
