Fans were curious to learn more when it was revealed that Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna would be seen swooning in the vampire romance Thama. The other classics in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, such as Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), and Stree 2 (2024), are largely responsible for the enthusiasm around this movie. The makers have now released the teaser, a quick glance at the World of Thama, following yesterday’s release of the first look posters featuring Rashmika, Ayushmann, and their co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Thama, which was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya, appears to be “bloody” good so far.
Fortunately, the Thama teaser offers us a close-up view of the characters rather than a fleeting glimpse. This one-minute, forty-nine-second film is a real teaser! Ayushmann Khurrana asks, “Reh paaogi mere bina, 100 saal tak?” at the beginning. Hearing the actor’s voice again after a long absence is a welcome change! Rashmika Mandanna’s sentimental and beautiful reply, “100 saal kya, ek pal ke liye bhi nahi,” comes next. Then we see Rashmika standing in the center of a forest, stooping as though to leap. Ayushmann, who is leaning on a tree and has bruises all over his face, meets her focused look. A grizzly bear attacks him later in the teaser, which is followed by dance scenes starring Rashmika and Ayushmann and a preview of Malaika Arora’s seductive item number. Her appearance is too good to be real!
