Ayushman Bharat Health Account enrollment is being spearheaded by National Health Mission Tripura with a large-scale campaign
To boost healthcare access, NHM Tripura gears up for a sweeping campaign starting May 3rd, aimed at registering citizens under the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), with a special focus on rural areas. Joint Mission Director of NHM Tripura, Binay Bhusan Das, highlighted the significance of Ayushman Bharat, the nation’s largest health insurance scheme, during a press conference.
He emphasized the transformative potential of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, which integrates medical services onto a unified digital platform, streamlining access for doctors, labs, pharmacies, and more. Das highlighted the importance of ABHA accounts in preserving medical records and facilitating seamless access for healthcare providers. He announced the rollout of registration camps in Agartala and other districts throughout May, with training sessions planned for all districts and subdivisions.
With over 1,152 pharmacies already enrolled in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and 15.54 lakh individuals registered under ABHA, NHM Tripura aims to extend coverage to the grassroots level, emphasizing the necessity of Aadhar card for registration.
