Ankita Lokhande turned down Karan Johar’s offer to be his Student of the Year 3
According to a media source, Ankita Lokhande, who most recently starred in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, directed by Randeep Hooda, allegedly declined Karan Johar’s offer to play Student of the Year 3. According to the story, Ankita was asked to compete for Student of the Year 3, a source close to the actor confirmed to News 18. She was asked whether she could be a part of the SOTY franchise, though I’m not sure what role was offered to her. She declined the offer, though, and no one is aware of the reasoning behind it. Note that a web series based on Student of the Year 3 is in the works.
The first two movies in the Student of the Year and Student of the Year 2 franchise were motion pictures. Student Of The Year marked the film debuts of Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan, while Student Of The Year 2 introduced Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria to the business. According to News 18, Karan Johar announced in April that Reema Maya would be directing the upcoming web series at the Cinevesture International Film Festival in Chandigarh. Reema Maya will serve as the director of the Student of the Year digital adaptation.
However, it will be her way and not mine because, as her name implies, if I enter Reema Maya’s world, I will make it more of an illusion. I was just interested in her voice.. Karan was cited by News 18 as saying, “She made it her own series.” Vicky Jain, Ankita’s spouse, took part in Bigg Boss 17. Vicky was eliminated shortly prior to the grand finale, but Ankita secured a place among the top four competitors. 2019 saw the debut of Ankita Lokhande in Bollywood film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She also acted in the lead role of Baaghi 3, opposite Tiger Shroff. Ankita won appreciation for her performance as Yamunabai in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, which was directed by Randeep Hooda.
