Port Blair, July 19, 2025 — The Directorate of Tourism, in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, has announced the launch of ‘Beach Volleyball – 2025: Volley the Vibe!’, a two-day festival set to take place on July 26 and 27 at the scenic Corbyn’s Cove Beach in Port Blair.
The initiative aims to position the Andaman Islands as a premier beach tourism destination by blending eco-tourism, competitive beach sports, and cultural vibrancy. Organizers hope to showcase the region’s monsoon charm, pristine coastlines, and adventure-friendly atmosphere to both domestic and international visitors.
The highlight of the festival will be a Beach Volleyball Knockout Tournament, open to both Men’s and Women’s teams. Winners will receive a cash prize of ₹7,000 and a trophy, while runners-up will be awarded ₹5,000 and a trophy.
