Alia Bhatt says she saw a new side of her sister Pooja on Bigg Boss, reveals she used to watch the live feed: ‘I used to watch it during the shoot’

Alia Bhatt may be a film star, but her guilt pleasures are very relatable. The actress said that she is addicted to watching the extremely popular Netflix dating reality TV show Too Hot to Handle. The series, which started in 2020, quickly gained popularity during the lockdown, which was the time when Alia discovered this extremely fun series. She also admitted that she watched Bigg Boss OTT when her sister Pooja Bhatt was one of the participants.
Alia Bhatt laughed while talking to Allure and said, “During lockdown, I have made watching Too Hot to Handle on Netflix my favourite thing to do.” The actress said that her choice of content might surprise many, but there is a reason why she is drawn to the show.
She said, “You might say, ‘Oh, why aren’t you watching movies that will give you depth, teach you something about acting and performing’, but honestly I just want to sit on my floor, take out my waxing strips and wax my legs while watching Too Hot to Handle. Even now when I’m too tired at the end of the day, I turn on that show.”
Alia Bhatt is not the only international reality TV fanatic as she said that she used to watch Bigg Boss OTT obsessively when her filmmaker sister Pooja also participated in it. “Last season of Bigg Boss OTT, my sister was also a part of it, so I used to watch it constantly. You can go to the live camera and watch the house live; I used to watch it in between shooting and work. But it was really great because I got to see a completely different dynamic in my sister,” she said.
Talking about the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently promoting her next film Zirgra. The action film, which is releasing on October 11, is directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar. After Zirgra, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious film Love and War, which will also star her husband Ranbir Kapoor and actor Vicky Kaushal.
