Adani AGM 2025: Gautam Adani intends to allocate an annual investment of $15-20 billion next 5 years

The Adani group on Tuesday announced a mega annual capital expenditure plan of $ 15-20 billion in various businesses in the next five years.
“Our capital investment across businesses is set to break all records,” Adani group Chairman Gautam Adani said at the annual general meeting of Adani Enterprise. “We anticipate an annual capex spend of $15-20 billion for the next 5 years,” he said.Adani also said no one from the Adani Group has been charged with violating the FCPA or conspiring to obstruct justice in the US.
He stated that Adani Green is constructing the largest renewable energy park globally — located right here in India and even observable from space. “From Khavda to the world, our goal of 50 GW by 2030 demonstrates that scale and sustainability can indeed coexist. In fact, when we integrate our thermal, renewable, and pumped hydro generation capacities, we anticipate reaching a total capacity of 100 GW by 2030,” he remarked.
Adani announced that the Navi Mumbai airport is set to open later this year, initially accommodating 20 million passengers, with plans to expand to a total capacity of 90 million passengers, thereby capturing a 35% share of India’s airport passenger traffic. In anticipation of the AGM, Adani Airports Holding Ltd reported that it has obtained $1 billion in project financing for the Mumbai International Airport Ltd, which manages the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. He mentioned that Adani Energy Solutions is responsible for smart metering and high-voltage connections, ensuring that India’s power grids are prepared for the future. “It has secured nearly Rs 44,000 crore in transmission contracts and is currently executing smart metering projects worth Rs 13,600 crore,” he stated.
