AAP vs. BJP Following High Court’s Denial of Arvind Kejriwal’s Request to Avoid Arrest

The Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s case against his arrest was dismissed by the Delhi High Court, which led to a furious dispute between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP today. The Delhi administration is under threat from the AAP, which claims a political plan to topple it. Meanwhile, the BJP claims that Mr. Kejriwal is the “kingpin” and that the ruling party in the nation’s capital “stands exposed”. Mr. Kejriwal had contested his detention on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case involving the now-cancelled liquor policy in Delhi. The government probe agency produced evidence, the court stated in rejecting the petition, indicating that AAP leaders had reportedly colluded to create the policy and were involved in requesting Rs 100 crore in kickbacks, According to the AAP.

Manoj Tiwari, a well-known BJP MP in Delhi, wrote on social media shortly after the high court’s decision, saying, “A criminal is a criminal.” Everyone in the nation is required to abide by Indian law. The AAP gang leader has been shown the mirror by the court’s decision. The ED’s evidence clearly demonstrates Arvind Kejriwal’s role as the kingpin. AAP is vulnerable.”The money trail has been proven, according to BJP spokesperson Shazia Ilmi, and there is a ton of proof against AAP leaders. Speaking to the media, BJP’s Sudhanshu Trivedi claimed that the high court’s decision had factually “shattered AAP’s vanity”. “The self-styled kattar imaandar (honest) has been shredded,” said him.

Mr. Trivedi accused the AAP leader of attempting to politicize the legal system in advance of the Lok Sabha elections, citing his repeated refusal to appear in court. AAP politician and minister for Delhi Saurabh Bharadwaj responded by claiming that during their searches in relation to the Delhi liquor policy case, the ED and the CBI did not even come across a single rupee. “Crupies are the topic of discussion. But the CBI and ED have not discovered a single rupee of illicit funds. He claimed that witnesses had been under pressure to alter their testimony and say what the ED wanted them to. “Money laundering is not at issue here. “This represents the largest political plot in India’s past,” he declared.
