A sport utility vehicle hit the people near Siliguri, West Bengal Darjeeling district, around 6 am on Monday

Seven people were killed and several others injured when a sport utility vehicle (SUV) rammed them near Siliguri in Bengal’s Darjeeling district around 6 am on Monday, reported by police.

Four of the victims were between the ages of 20 and 28, as per police information.
Passengers of SUVs and some people heading towards the shrine were injured badly, police officials announced.
